Job Summary : Tire Factory Distribution is currently looking for an Operations Supervisor for our Memphis, Tennessee Distribution Center. This position oversees and directs warehouse and distribution personnel. Leads the processing of shipments outgoing and the receipt of incoming products. Ensuring it is completed following best practices and policies in an efficient and timely manner. In the position you will report to the Warehouse Manager. Salary range : $62,000 to $65,000.
Primary Responsibilities :
Leads the warehouse and distribution teams so that schedules and deadlines are met.Ensures that established policies, rules and regulations, and procedures are followed.Provides leadership by demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety-conscious behaviors.Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.Assists in the training and development of warehouse employees and distribution personnel.Use of forklifts, scan guns, computers, and proper handling procedures to safely store or pull inventory in an organized and efficient manner.Ensures quality, accuracy, and speed of the unloading and storing of all incoming loads, and the pulling and loading of all outgoing shipmentsAids in the routing / level loading for runs to ensure weight and time requirements are observed.Ensures proper trucks are loaded for each routeWorks with the distribution personnel to maintain fleet vehicles.Aids in the training of Samsara and monitoring for proper usage.Aid in the validation of delivery receipts to ensure signatures were received and proper payment is collected when needed.Responsible for all processes, equipment, safety, and housekeeping of the warehouse and meeting quality and quantity standards on the shift.Troubleshoots problems and notifies Manager for assistance as required.Represents and promotes a positive image of the Company at all times both on and off the job.Stand in for the Manager during vacations and sickness as required.Fill in for delivery drivers as required.Use yard hostler when applicable to ensure load priority is followed.Other tasks and duties as assigned.Requirements :
