Salary: $75,000 – $85,000
Semi Local candidates preferred. In-office presence is required two days a month at our corporate HQ.
Standard hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and test projects assigned to you.
- Document program changes and write test plans for the QA team.
- Work across multiple software teams to deliver key projects.
- Maintain existing applications and develop new ones.
- Communicate key project milestones and challenges with team members and supervisors.
- Analyze data to coordinate the installation of new systems or modifications to existing systems.
- Perform project demonstrations for team members.
- Develop projects on an IBM I system using RPGIV (RPGLE).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 years of software development experience at the corporate level.
- Ability to work 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday – Friday.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using statistical computer languages to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Experience writing technical documents and test plans.
