The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining client relationships and assisting Agents in day-to-day handling of personal lines account(s). The ideal candidate for this position is dependable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized with the ability to provide accurate and responsive customer service.

Responsibilities
- Manage the renewal process by facilitating communication between the client, Account Manager, Agent, and carrier.
- Facilitate the marketing process and coordinate communication with all parties.
- Prepare coverage applications, submit the insured and / or carrier as needed, obtain client signatures, and follow up to ensure timely responses.
- Maintain strong client relationships with ability to solve problems.
- Process and verify accuracy of policy changes with various insurance carriers to ensure policies accurately reflect the coverage needs.
- Produce and distribute auto ID cards, proposals, policy books, summaries of insurance, asset schedules, certificates, and other related items accurately and on time.
- Inform and educate clients about exclusions, exposures, and additional lines of coverage available.
- Create and maintain accurate electronic file documentation and performance of responsibilities with clients and others in a manner that avoids potential errors and omissions.
- Actively engage in client risk management and claim processes, and facilitate communication / meetings between carrier, client, and agency personnel.
- Stay abreast of developments in the insurance industry and changes in coverage.
- Other duties requested by the agent and / or in accordance with TIS practices related to the successful retention and maintenance of client relationships. This may include some travel to client facilities when needed.
