Job Description:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Cement Plant Operations & Reporting Analyst to support the plant’s operational and financial performance through data analysis, cost coordination, and reporting. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate tracking of production metrics, cost efficiency, and compliance with financial reporting standards. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data analysis, reporting tools, and a solid understanding of manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze plant performance metrics, including production efficiency, cost tracking, and operational KPIs.
- Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly reports on plant operations, cost analysis, and financial performance.
- Support month-end closing processes, including inventory reconciliation, production cost tracking, and variance analysis.
- Monitor and track key production indicators, such as raw material usage, production output, and downtime analysis.
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel models and dashboards to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with annual KPI updates and data-driven decision-making for continuous process improvement.
- Generate reports related to environmental and compliance tracking, including CO₂ emissions and sustainability metrics.
- Collaborate with the Plant Manager and Finance team to improve financial controls and budgeting processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline reporting processes and improve data accuracy.
- Prepare and edit professional documents, reports, and presentations with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with corporate and regulatory reporting standards.
Qualifications, Benefits & Disclaimer
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a reporting, financial analysis, or operations support role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools). Financial knowledge to assist with budget and production cost analysis.
- Experience with SAP, ERP systems, or other data management tools is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding and experience with cost tracking, financial reporting, and operational analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets to extract meaningful insights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Experience in the cement, construction materials, or heavy manufacturing industry is a plus.
