Titan America LLC is looking for a skilled and driven Senior Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team at its Corporate Center in Norfolk, VA. In this role, you will take a leadership position in financial modeling, forecasting, and providing actionable insights to guide strategic business decisions. This salaried exempt position is designed for professionals with at least 5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance or accounting who are ready to take on more responsibility and make a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities
- Gain a thorough understanding of the company and our industry while contributing to a dynamic and collaborative business environment.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of business operations and financial performance to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities, providing clear and actionable insights to senior leadership to support decision-making.
- Drive the development and monitoring of annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and long-term financial plans, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare and present high-quality reports, dashboards, and presentations using tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Power Point to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Build and maintain advanced financial models and perform scenario and ad hoc analyses to address operational challenges and evaluate potential business outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and financial leaders to align insights with business goals, identify improvement opportunities, and drive strategic initiatives.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts to ensure high-quality outputs and foster professional growth within the team.
- Collaborate with business unit financial leaders to identify opportunities and implement initiatives for continuous improvement in FP&A.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills when engaging with all levels of management, including accounting, operations, general management, and senior leadership.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field is required; an MBA, master's degree, and/or CPA (or equivalent certification) are preferred.
- Five years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint; additional experience in Hyperion Essbase and/or SAP S4 HANA considered a plus.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to perform under time constraints while collaborating with a diverse group of internal stakeholders.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Positive, proactive mindset with demonstrated experience thriving in a team-oriented environment
