Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems, and the ability to devise creative sourcing strategies for potential applicants. This role requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills as you will work closely with others across different departments.
Core Responsibilities:
- Partner with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to fill vacant positions at multiple locations along the East coast by:
- Determining selection criteria for candidates by liaising with managers and other members of staff
- Create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position
- Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews
- Proactively source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks
- Building relationships with local candidate sources (associations, colleges, and universities)
- Building effective internal relationships with hiring managers, to include forecasting needs, etc.
- Targeting competitors to attract passive candidates.
- Updating and monitoring all job postings, applicant tracking systems, etc.
- Schedule, organize, and manage recruiting events as necessary
- Identify and screen high caliber candidates that match our job qualifications and experience requirements that are aligned with our Leadership Platform
- Works collaboratively to manage social media presence and employer brand.
- Maintain applicant tracking system, ensuring all data is up-to-date, candidates have been contacted, and the historical records are accurate for future review
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited four-year college/university and 3 years of Talent Acquisition experience, required.
- Experience with full life cycle recruiting
- Knowledge and past use of applicant tracking systems, preferably SAP Success Factors
- Fundamental interviewing skills experience required.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships both within and outside the organization.
- Strong multi-tasking, organizational and influencing skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
