Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations to drive growth and operational excellence within our $10-15 million door manufacturing and hardware production business. This pivotal role will oversee all facets of operations—including production, quality control, inventory, vendor negotiations, and sales—ensuring that our high-quality products and services meet customer expectations. The Director of Operations will lead a dedicated team of 30-50 employees and work collaboratively with leadership to execute strategic initiatives across manufacturing and sales channels.

Key Responsibilities :

Operational Leadership

Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing, supply chain, and sales processes to ensure alignment with company goals.

Optimize production schedules and sales strategies to meet deadlines, maximize efficiency, and drive revenue growth.

Production and Inventory Control

Manage production operations for door manufacturing and hardware production, ensuring efficient resource allocation and on-time delivery.

Oversee inventory levels to maintain seamless availability of raw materials and finished products.

Drive continuous improvements in production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Quality Control

Implement and maintain stringent quality assurance protocols to ensure product excellence.

Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and promptly resolve quality issues.

Vendor Relationships and Negotiations

Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating favorable terms to maximize cost efficiency.

Source high-quality materials to support production demands while ensuring consistency and reliability across the supply chain.

Financial and Margin Management

Analyze profit and loss statements to assess operational and financial performance.

Identify opportunities to improve margins and implement strategies that enhance profitability.

Generate innovative revenue-boosting ideas and collaborate with leadership to execute these strategies effectively.

Sales and Customer Relations

Oversee sales initiatives, ensuring that sales targets are met and that customer feedback is integrated into operational improvements.

Work closely with the sales team to track new business opportunities and drive growth across multi-channel revenue streams.

Develop and implement action plans to increase sales, revenue, and margins while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Team Management and Development

Lead, inspire, and develop a team of 30-50 staff members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Provide training and growth opportunities to build a high-performing operations team that excels in both production and sales.

Strategic Planning and Execution
