Titan Corp US is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing proper maintenance for our community, while delivering exceptional customer service to residents and prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete all service requests within 24 hours, unless extraordinary parts or labor are required.
- Maintain a clean and orderly maintenance shop.
- Monitor and operate the compactor.
- Help maintain grounds and streets free of litter.
- Maintain all amenity areas.
- Assist the Community Director with unusual projects as necessary.
- Maintain project directional signs.
- Monitor recycling containers.
- Call the Community Director or Maintenance Supervisor before taking time off.
- Perform light inspections to check and replace defective or burned-out light bulbs.
Physical Requirements:
The role requires the ability to perform tasks that involve a great amount of physical exertion. This includes:
- Using various hand tools and test equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Hand-carrying and using a 70-pound refrigerant recovery unit.
- Installing air-conditioning compressors weighing 40-120 pounds.
- Installing air-conditioning condenser units weighing 100-250 pounds.
- Installing furnace/forced air units weighing up to 90 pounds.
- Installing hot water heaters weighing 70-90 pounds.
- Climbing ladders to clean leaves from gutters and perform roof repairs.
- Lifting and transporting heavy items such as appliances, furniture, and building materials.
Customer Service Responsibilities:
- Communicate clearly with residents both verbally and in writing.
- Read and/or listen to resident requests/concerns.
- Receive resident concerns in a calm and open manner.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) certified.
- Have a sense of pride in your work, be courteous and tactful, and have a commitment to quality work.
- Be clean-cut, neatly dressed, and wear the proper uniform each day.
- Have good character and a background that can withstand a thorough background check.
- Pass a drug-screening test.
- Have dependable transportation capable of carrying tools and parts.
- Have a valid driver's license.
