Titan Asset Management Group is seeking a dependable individual to fill a temporary General Maintenance Technician position for the summer. This role is based at UMR student housing facilities in downtown Rochester,MN and focuses primarily on dorm room maintenance during student move-out season.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on dorm rooms following student move-outs.
- Inspect and assess room conditions to ensure readiness for incoming residents.
- Conduct basic repairs including patching walls, replacing fixtures, and tightening hardware.
- Report any significant damage or issues to the supervisor for further action.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance supplies and workspaces.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures while performing all tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in general maintenance, custodial work, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and perform light repairs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to room turnover.
- Availability of working flexible hours during the summer months.
Schedule: 8am – 4pm
Pay Rate: Starting at $17 per hour
