Job Summary
The Welder is a safety sensitive position responsible for performing high quality welding duties for oilfield related construction and maintenance projects under the direction of the Welder Foreman. The position also requires a commitment to understanding and exhibiting Titan’s Mission and Core Values, following safety rules, federal and state laws and regulations as well as representing the company in a professional, courteous manner at all times.
Role and Responsibilities
- Basic welding and fabrication duties
- Assist with checking accuracy and quality of all phases of fabrication.
- Operate basic shop equipment, including shear, press, iron worker, grinders, etc.
- Read and follow drawing and blueprints
- Report inconsistencies and/or defects in material, product, or equipment
- Maintain records and paperwork
- Work cooperatively with other employees
- Follow directions of the Supervisor
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Work and commit to a company-wide culture that ensures that Safety is everybody’s business
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Applicant must be 18 years old.
- Welding skills with both stick and wire welders required.
- Must pass weld test.
- Must be able to read blueprints.
- Experience with machining a plus.
- Successful completion and passing of company drug screen, background check and fit test
