Summary Description: This position is responsible for carrying out all sanitation activities to ensure processing plants meet or exceed pertinent regulatory standards of cleanliness, assuring the safety and quality of all products processed at Titan Frozen Fruit. Areas of responsibility include all processing equipment, overhead, processing floor, employee facilities, and outside grounds. Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:
· Supervise a team of sanitation personnel, provide training in line with Titan’s sanitation guidelines, and clearly communicate performance expectations.
· Ensure compliance with sanitation and food safety regulations, including HACCP, GMPs and FDA guidelines, and maintain accurate records of compliance efforts.
· Collaborate with Operations and QA staff to coordinate and execute all required sanitation activities on production equipment.
· Maintain accurate records of completed sanitation activities and chemical strengths.
· Ensure all chemicals are accurately labeled, properly file Safety Data Sheets.
· Oversee inventory levels of sanitation supplies, including chemicals, tools, and safety equipment.
· Work with QA to identify, report, and resolve quality issues related to sanitation, documenting resolutions, and implementing preventative measures.
· Create and maintain SOPs for all sanitation processes in partnership with Food Safety Analyst.
· Manage the internal flying insect control program and schedule regular waste disposal.
· Participate in all internal and external audits for food safety and quality.
· Enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment, including training employees on safe practices and responding to safety incidents.
· Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
Qualifications:· 5 years’ experience in sanitation practices and chemical safety, especially in food processing.
· Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards (HACCP, FDA).
· Experience and understanding of cGMP regulations and quality management systems.
· Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly desired.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
