Description :
The Bar Back is to assist the bar staff by helping maintain the cleanliness and stocking of the bar area. Although not directly in contact with guests, a Bar Back must maintain a friendly demeanor while providing support to bar staff.
Requirements : Responsibilities :
- Restock glassware, fruit garnishes, bar mixes, cleaning supplies, napkins, and straws
- Keep ice bins full at all times
- Clean and put away glassware throughout the shift
- Maintains all bottled beer, kegs, liquor, and wine pars during and after shift
- Responsible for breakdown of bar area during close
- Assists in cleanliness and organization of all bar area and bar storage
- Assists in bar rotations and bar inventories
- Performs all assigned side work and cleaning duties
- Follows all safety and sanitation protocols
- Disposes of all trash behind the bar during and after shift
- Keeps bar area clean and sanitized at all times
- Performs all steps of service when interacting with guests
- Maintain performance standards and motivates team through positive role modeling
- Performs additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by a manager at any time
