Hiring Experienced Locksmith Technician – Long-Term Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled and EXPERIENCED Locksmith Technician to join our team for a long-term position. The right candidate will have a strong understanding of lock mechanisms, emergency situations, and key-cutting techniques. This role involves providing high-quality locksmith services while combining technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, sales skills, and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include installing, repairing, and maintaining locks for homes, businesses, and vehicles, as well as cutting and programming automotive keys. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and service a variety of locks and security systems for residential and commercial properties.
• Handle emergency lockout situations with professionalism and efficiency.
• Cut and duplicate keys using specialized locksmith equipment.
• Assess security needs and recommend suitable locking solutions to clients.
• Keep detailed records of completed jobs and maintain an organized inventory of locks and keys.
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and providing security guidance.
• Stay informed on the latest locksmith techniques, tools, and industry advancements.
• Candidates must be willing to develop and master automotive locksmith skills, including key programming and cutting, with the opportunity to grow in the automotive security industry.

Experience

• Prior experience as a locksmith or in a related field is required; additional specialized training will be offered to the right candidate.
• Must have knowledge of various lock types, including mechanical, electronic, and smart locks.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with clients and assess their security needs effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $51,000.00 - $61,350.00 per year

• car key cutting and programming: 2 years (Required)

Willingness to travel:
