As a Catheterization Laboratory technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating medical imaging equipment, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare patients for catheterization laboratory procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and administering medications as needed
* Operate medical imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy machines and echocardiography devices, to capture high-quality images and videos
* Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict safety protocols and quality standards
* Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes, based on data analysis and feedback
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or related field
* RCIS/BCLS/BLS certifications from American Heart Association/ARRT(R)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion
