Job Description
SIA 2022 "Best Employer" Titan Medical Group is looking for an outgoing, motivated, and organized individual who can multi-task and provide outstanding customer service both in-person and over the phone, to apply for our Credentialing Specialist position.
Summary:
The Credentialing Specialist provides administrative support for the Client Service and Sales Department. You will perform complex clerical duties as it relates to employee records maintenance. You will have frequent contact with Titan's Recruiters and Account Managers as well as the Travel Medical Professional Employee Population. You will be responsible for working knowledge of company policies and procedures.
Essential Job Functions:
· Create, organize, maintain, audit, scan, and attach travel employee personnel information.
· Work closely with travel staff to obtain information for electronic personnel files; including but not limited to certifications, licenses, health information, background checks, drugs screens, and testing.
· Performs customer service function by answering employee questions and requests.
· Identifies missing documentation, searches for and investigates information contained in electronic files, to ensure files are kept current.
· Review contract requirements to identify file requirements and audit needs.
· Participate in Client Service Division administrative functions, including but not limited to filing, answering phones, routing faxes, ordering office supplies, and other related functions, as appropriate.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
· Knowledge of healthcare credentialing, licensing, certification, and hiring requirements preferred.
· Ability to make sound, independent judgments with established policies and procedures; organizing own work, and setting priorities.
· Ability to deal with problems involving occasional, last-minute changes in generally standardized situations.
· Ability to meet critical deadlines.
· Exceptional detail orientation and time management skills.
· Excellent communication skills, including over the telephone and in-person, both written and verbal is essential.
Ideal Candidates Have:
· High School Diploma
· 1 - 2 years as a Credentialing Specialist preferred. Will consider administrative support experience, data entry, preferably in healthcare, human resources, or the staffing area.
· Prior customer service experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.43 - $23.31 per hour
