Job Description
The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for preparing patients for catheterization procedures, operating angiographic equipment, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for catheterization procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and administering medications as necessary.
- Operate angiographic equipment to capture high-quality images of the heart and blood vessels.
- Maintain a safe and efficient working environment by following established protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
- ARRT(R) certification, along with BCLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- RCIS certification is a plus but not required.
