Responsibilities
The Psychiatrist will work Monday to Thursday from 8am-5pm and Friday from 8am-4pm. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive mental health assessments and medication management.
- Chart review for PMHNPs - supervising 1 PMHNP.
- Seeing Adult and Pediatric Patients.
- Limited call (phone only).
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- A clear and active medical license (MD, DO) in Alabama or willingness to obtain if an out-of-area candidate.
- Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Psychiatry.
- An Active DEA.
- New graduates are welcome.
