What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hydrotechnician position at Titan Production Equipment LLC?
Position Summary: Works under direct supervision to complete the hydro testing of manufactured products within established procedures.
Job Description:
- Operates hydro test and may read chart recorder to pressure test vessels and piping
- Hydro test specific pressures retaining items
- Works with exceptional safety hazards at all times
- Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department
Required Test:
- None
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent or equal combination of education and experience
- Two (2) years of related experience and/or training
- Some knowledge of A.N.S.I. ratings, flange, bolts, and gasket sizes
Physical Strain:
- Lifting up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 30 pounds
- Bending, squatting, climbing, pulling, stooping, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heights
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Must meet all OSHA regulations regarding hydro testing
