Instructional Technologist Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements professional learning and sustain improvement on the use of instructional technology.
- Support technological innovation across curriculum for students.
- Performs initial research & development, assisting with tool discovery and understanding.
- Research and reporting on market trends.
- Troubleshoots and assists with technical issues related to instructional design or instructional technology.
- Provides Tier 2 and 3 support.
- Serves as an initial escalation point.
- Plans and designs learning experiences that use instructional content.
- Evaluates and recommends academic technology tools.
- Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
Instructional Technology Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- A year or more working in instructional design and/or instructional technology.
- Able to work well with interdepartmental teams and initiatives.
- Knowledge of instructional theories and design processes.
- Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information.
