Titan Security is seeking experienced Security Officers to join our dynamic team. This positionis ideal for security professionals with 3 years of security experience who have strong report writing, security technology skills, and take pride in their appearance and professionalism. Flex Officers will be trained to work at multiple job sites, primarily consisting of concierge and patrol services for commercial properties. They may also be assigned to warehouse gate entry positions, providing access control and checking in over-the-road drivers. The ideal candidate will be flexible with scheduling, as this position requires working at various locations, 2nd and 3rd shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform concierge and patrol services at commercial properties, ensuring the safety and security of tenants, visitors, and assets.
• Conduct access control and gate entry operations at warehouse locations, verifying credentials and logging over-the-road drivers.
• Monitor and operate security technology, including CCTV systems, access control systems, and incident reporting software.
• Write detailed and professional reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols to deter and detect security threats.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, following company and client protocols.
• Enforce company and client policies, including safety procedures, trespassing, and unauthorized access.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional security presence.
• Adapt quickly to new environments, client expectations, and site-specific procedures.
  
  
  

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1 year prior satisfactory employment. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:Ability to acquire and maintain a valid IllinoisPERC, including state accredited training requirements.

Language Skills: Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Bi-lingual considered a plus.

Other Qualifications: Ability to passpre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Must maintain a working telephone number though which we can contact you.

Physical Demands: The physical demands are based on the contract and must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A list of these job duties is inclusive of, but not limited to: candidates must be able to stand for extended periods of time; be able to lift, push, and/or pull at least 50 lbs.; be able to accommodate foot patrols on the interior & exterior of the assigned facility; be able to perform assigned duties regardless of inclement weather.

Salary & Benefits:Compensation is $19.50 per hour, plus paid time off, medical insurance, dental insurance, paid holidays, and pension/retirement benefits.
