Overview

Titan Security is currently hiring for Security Officers to work at various locations in the Taylor & Romulus area'a. Positions available include mobile patrol and access control, all shifts are available.

As a Mobile Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the security and safety of our premises through regular patrols and checkpoints. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct mobile patrols, monitor designated areas, and ensure compliance with security protocols to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or any other security breaches.

Responsibilities

Mobile Patrols: Conduct routine patrols of designated areas, including but not limited to parking lots, building perimeters, and sensitive access points, using designated security vehicles or on foot.

Checkpoint Monitoring: Perform scheduled checkpoints via mobile device scans & QR codes to ensure restricted areas are secure and access is granted only to authorized personnel.

Surveillance: Utilize surveillance equipment and maintain a high level of situational awareness to detect and respond to any suspicious activities or security threats promptly.

Emergency Response: Act swiftly and appropriately in the event of emergencies, such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches, following established protocols and procedures.

Reporting: Document all security-related incidents, observations, and activities accurately and promptly in written reports. Maintain detailed logs of patrols, checkpoints, and any notable incidents.

Collaboration: Coordinate and communicate effectively with other security team members, supervisors, and relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless security operations.

Customer Service: Provide courteous assistance and support to employees, visitors, and guests when needed, while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of security equipment, including vehicles, communication devices, and surveillance systems.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security-related fields is preferred.

Experience: Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military is advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates with a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to security protocols will be considered.

Physical Fitness: Ability to perform regular patrols on foot or by vehicle, often in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions. Must be capable of standing, walking, and occasionally lifting or moving objects.

Communication Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills are essential for conveying information effectively and documenting security incidents accurately.

Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills and attention to detail are crucial for detecting potential security threats and ensuring thorough reporting.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to think critically and respond calmly and decisively to security incidents or emergencies, following established protocols and procedures.

Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as the ability to adapt to changing security needs and priorities.

Additional Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check

Compensation & Benefis: Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications, hourly wages will be based on location.
