What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator - 3rd Shift position at Titan Tire - Tennessee Custom Mixing?

We are growing! And currently, we are hiring full-time 3rd Shift Forklift Operators. Working hours are 11 p.m. - 7 a.m. with some occasional overtime and weekend work. We offer a $0.50 shift differential per hour for working 3rd shift.
Primary Duties: A Mixing Trucker’s (MTs) primary duties are compliance to all policies, perform all procedures, and complete all tasks associated with their assigned area of work. The aforementioned assigned areas duties are keeping the banburies with the sufficient & correct materials to keep production flowing; and keeping the correct empty skids and removing/correctly trucking compound in order to keep the wig wag production flowing. MTs are cross trained on all jobs and tasks in the Shipping department, and may be required to perform any of those tasks when directed by the Lead Hand or Department supervisor. MTs must possess and demonstrate the working knowledge of TN Custom Mixing’s Compound Inventory Procedures. MTs must possess and demonstrate the working knowledge of TCM’s Raw Materials Inventory Procedures. MTs are required to complete their assigned Forklift Check Sheet prior to the start of each shift. It is the responsibility of the MTs to inform the Shipping Clerk, Lead Hand, or Department Supervisor of any unsafe situation, obstacle to efficient work or their inability to safely perform any of these listed duties. MTs will focus on efficiency, communication, quality, and above all, SAFETY.
Other Duties: Other duties include F.I.F.O. raw materials storage, F.I.F.O. multi-pass compound storage, F.I.F.O. work-away storage, F.I.F.O. cleaner rack, F.I.F.O. partial racks. MTs may, on occasion, be directed by the SC, LH, or S to perform duties outside their primary duties. Examples include, but are not limited to, transfer of materials between the “east” & “west” ends, loading/unloading trailers, housekeeping (this includes forklift cleaning per shift), and administrative tasks. MTs will perform all other duties as assigned by the LH, SC, or Department Supervisor.
Expectations: MTs will ensure they maintain all appropriate certifications and properly wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). MTs are expected, on occasion, to lift up to 75 lbs. Anything weighing over 75 lbs. must be lifted using the two person lifting method. Anything over 125 lbs. must be lifted by mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic means. MTs will maintain proficiency on all associated tasks related to their duties, primary or other--If current processes are changed or new ones are introduced, MTs are expected not to perform them until they are certified to do so. Additionally, MTs will strive to maintain a positive, efficient and productive work environment free of discrimination, bias, speculation and rumor.
