Summary/Objective: We are seeking an experienced Title Examiner to join our team, specializing in residential and commercial real estate transactions across Oklahoma. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can research property records, analyze chains of title, and identify potential title issues in accordance with Oklahoma real estate laws and title standards.

- Examine public records to establish chain of title for residential and commercial properties
- Review deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, tax records, easements, and plats
- Identify and summarize title defects, encumbrances, or ownership issues
- Verify legal descriptions and interpret property surveys
- Prepare accurate and clear title reports for closings or title insurance issuance
- Collaborate with escrow officers, underwriters, attorneys, and real estate professionals
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Oklahoma title laws, standards, and local recording practices
- Complies with all regulatory requirements.
- Understands, follows, and stays current on all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
- Follows instructions and responds to management direction.
- Performs all essential functions by being physically present at the worksite on a full-time basis.
- Interact with clients, realtors, and other industry professionals in a manner that reflects professionalism and exhibits company core values.

Preferred Education and Experience:
- 3 years of experience in residential and/or commercial title examination
- Strong understanding of Oklahoma real property law and title insurance processes
- Ability to read and interpret legal descriptions and property surveys
- Experience with online land records and county-level research
- Proficiency with title production software (e.g., SoftPro, Resware, RamQuest)
- Excellent attention to detail and written communication skills
- Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
