Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented CDL Driver Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting; sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified CDL drivers to meet company needs. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong networking abilities, and a deep understanding of the transportation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract qualified CDL drivers
• Post job openings on various local job boards and social media
• Assess qualifications and experience
• Verify credentials; CDL licenses, endorsements, and background checks
• Maintain a database of qualified driver candidates for future hiring needs
• Foster and maintain industry relationships
• Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations and company hiring policies
• Track recruitment metrics and provide regular reports on hiring progress

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in recruiting, preferably in the trucking or logistics industry
• Familiarity with CDL licensing requirements and DOT/FMCSA regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Bilingual preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet hiring goals
• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) - preferably Tenstreet
