Position Overview:
The Director of Power Services is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of Titan's Power Services Division. This individual will oversee storm response operations, project and safety management, and industry training services. This includes maintaining and building customer relationships, recruiting and managing field personnel, streamlining processes, and ensuring that the division meets financial, operational, and compliance goals. The Director will serve as the face of the unit during storm events and provide day-to-day leadership of internal teams and vendor resources.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations
- Lead all aspects of the Power Services Division, including storm response, safety oversight projects, and training.
- Oversee division P&L and drive financial performance, ensuring profitability of all service lines.
- Serve as the lead point of contact and provide a physical presence in regards to off site operations such as storms, and projects
- Streamline and implement new processes as the division grows.
-Provide guidance and support to divisional staff
Key Divisional Points of Leadership:
Projects:
- Oversee scheduling and logistics of trucks and resources for all projects.
- Coordinate and supervise consulting projects as needed.
- Coordinate with brokers and customers to assess resource needs and ensure fulfillment.
Storm:
- Manage storm response logistics, documentation, and crew accountability in real time.
- Vet and recruit storm personnel, including part-time, full-time, W-2, and 1099 resources.
Training:
- Assist in advancing the company-wide safety program.
- Support the development and ongoing improvement of safety training curriculum.
- Evaluate training content, delivery, and pricing to ensure value and relevance to the industry.
Staff Oversight
- Maintain the effective operations of staff dedicated to the Power Services Division
- Ensure regular reporting, including expense reports for storm deployments and project activities are completed
- Confirm PPE assets are appropriately allocated and returned
- Ensure all documentation and compliance requirements are met for internal records and customer expectations.
- Facilitate the continued improvement of compliance within platforms and documentation processes.
Business Development & Customer Engagement
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new utility customers.
- Maintain strong relationships with brokers, customers, and key personnel.
- Work with the sales team to identify and pursue new opportunities.
- Attend meetings and support the sales process with technical knowledge and operational planning.
- Oversee and complete bid proposals in coordination with business development.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the electrical utility industry, with a background in operations.
- Demonstrated leadership in roles involving emergency response, field operations, or utility safety.
- Experience managing teams, budgets, and customer relationships.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA, DOT, NESC, and NEC regulations.
- Strong understanding of storm/emergency response processes.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple high-impact events simultaneously.
- Comfortable traveling and responding to out-of-area work as needed.
- Strong communication skills-both written and verbal-with experience in leading presentations or training
sessions.
