Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced 12-Volt Technician to install GPS systems in fleet vehicles across the nation. This is a 1099 contractor position. The technician will be responsible for installing GPS devices in a variety of fleet vehicles. The role has opportunities to travel to different locations and the ability to work independently while ensuring timely and accurate installations.
Responsibilities:
Install GPS tracking devices and related equipment in fleet vehicles
Perform wiring and troubleshooting for optimal system functionality
Ensure all installations meet company and safety standards
Maintain accurate records of installations and service work
Requirements:
Experience with 12-volt systems and GPS installations (preferred)
Ability to travel within a minimal radius of your city
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
