We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Chemical Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team in the Permian Basin. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships, driving sales growth, and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years chemical sales experience, possess strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Our primary focus is the movement of hydrochloric acid but other oilfield chemical experience is welcomed
Responsibilities
- Have an immediate book of business of business to contribute to immediate company growth.
- Conduct cold calling to generate new business opportunities and expand the client base.
- Perform product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential clients.
- Manage assigned territory effectively, ensuring all accounts are serviced and nurtured.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Engage in direct sales activities, including negotiating contracts and closing deals.
- Upsell additional products or services to existing clients to maximize revenue potential.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and account management in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop strategies for achieving sales targets.
Requirements
- A minister m of 5 years chemical oilfield experience.
- Proven experience in outside sales or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong skills in territory management and account management.
- Ability to analyze market data and make informed decisions based on findings.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
- Experience with upselling techniques and direct sales strategies.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage clients effectively.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities.
