We are seeking energetic and motivated individuals to fill the role of Ops Manager - Dispatcher. In this position, you will Lead daily logistics operations, managing dispatch and route optimization to ensure efficient package deliveries. Surpervise and support delivery associates, addressing operational challenges in real-time. Analyze performance metrics to improve efficiency, safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
Colaborate with management to enhance workflow, fleet utilization and compliance with Amazon DSP standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Ops Manager
Team Leadership: Oversee daily operations, including managing Delivery Associates (DAs) and Dispatchers, ensuring all routes are adequately staffed and executed efficiently.
- Training and Development: Implement training programs for new hires and provide ongoing coaching to existing staff to uphold safety and quality standards.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze performance metrics, such as delivery times and customer feedback, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Fleet Management: Ensure the delivery fleet is well-maintained, scheduling regular maintenance and addressing any vehicle-related issues promptly.
- Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with company policies, safety protocols, and legal regulations.
Dispatcher
Responsibilities:
- Route Coordination: Assign and adjust delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient package delivery.
- Driver Support: Serve as the main point of contact for Delivery Associates during their routes, addressing any issues or emergencies that arise.
- Performance Monitoring: Track delivery progress and provide real-time support to ensure adherence to schedules and performance standards.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with drivers, management, and customers to resolve any delivery-related concerns.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Punctual and reliable with a positive attitude.
Previous experience in a DSP or warehouse environment is a plus but not required.
Bilingual is a plus
