What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor Part Time -Estrella Mountain (Lead Position) position at Titian Cleaning LLC.?
The Janitor performs manual labor associated with the daily cleaning of school classrooms, office space and Restrooms. Duties require moderate physical strength and stamina. Work includes dust mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning restrooms, removing trash, polishing furniture, and operating basic mechanical cleaning equipment. The performance of these duties are Monday - Thursday Evenings at Estrella Mountain located at: 10301 S. San Miguel, Goodyear, AZ 85338 (3:45pm - 9:15pm)
Lead Responsibilities:
You are responsible for up to 3 employees
1. They must know and understand the Liberty School District contract
2. You are responsible for training all new and current employees if the Night Supervisor is not available
3. All employees must know and understand the OMEX Basic 5 (clean door glass, clean floors, trash emptied, clean restrooms and weekly task completed)
4. All employees must know and understand how to use all equipment and chemicals
5. All employees must know their assigned duties and responsibilities.
6. Ensure all employees’ daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are completed in accordance with the Liberty School District contracts.
7. Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned, maintained and stored nightly
8. You are required to walk each building nightly and ensure the OMEX 5 are completed at a minimum.
9. Ensure that ALL DOORS AND GATES ARE LOCKED. ALL EXTERIOR DOORS MUST BE LOCKED NIGHTLY.
Regular Responsibilities:
1. Empty trash containers, and recycle receptacles
2. Dust mop, sweep, wet mop, buff floors
3. Vacuum rugs and carpets
4. Scrub and clean restroom fixtures and keep restroom supplied with towels, toilet tissue, soap, and other items
5. Dust and clean walls, doors windows, woodwork, and other above-floor surfaces
6. Clean and sanitize kitchen/break room area
7. Dust, clean and polish furniture
8. Clean elevators and stairwells and glass on stairwells
9. Clean door glass interior and exterior
10. Clean inside and applicable outside window glass
11. Police areas around outside of building
12. Perform related work as required and instructed
Requirements:
Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment
Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength
Ability to operate mechanical cleaning equipment
Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions in the performance of the job
Ability to establish and maintain working relations with supervisor and fellow workers
Must be able to communicate in English verbally and written
