Job Title: Remote Echo Technical Director - Heart and Vascular
Position Overview: The Remote Technical Director for Heart and Vascular will work directly under the Director of Heart and Vascular to ensure the quality and accuracy of echocardiogram scans. This PRN position will involve reviewing current echocardiogram scans, identifying any quality issues, and providing guidance to enhance the scanning process. The Technical Director will be responsible for developing and leading a bi-weekly remote team huddle aimed at educating and supporting the technical team. Additionally, the role will involve collaboration with providers to address scanning challenges and ensure the imaging captures the necessary data to meet patient needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing echocardiogram scans for quality and providing feedback on areas for improvement.
- Developing and leading a bi-weekly remote education and team huddle to address common scanning challenges and improve skillsets.
- Collaborating with providers to resolve issues and ensure robust scanning practices are being followed.
- Ensuring imaging captures all necessary details to address patient needs effectively.
- Working closely with the Medical Director and the Director of Heart and Vascular to plan and initiate the accreditation process for the program when ready.
- Providing onsite training as needed, based on the Technical Director’s availability, to support the team’s hands-on development and further enhance scanning skills.
