We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Transportation Brokerage to join our dynamic team.

Position Summary

The Director of Transportation Brokerage will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our transportation brokerage operations. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of brokerage activities, including customer acquisition, carrier relationships, freight management, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our transportation brokerage business and achieve revenue targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and carriers, fostering trust and collaboration.
• Negotiate favorable freight rates and contracts to ensure profitability.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the brokerage team, including freight booking, dispatching, and customer service.
• Monitor and analyze market trends to identify new opportunities and optimize pricing strategies.
• Leverage technology and data analytics to improve efficiency and decision-making.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of brokerage professionals.
• Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure seamless integration and support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation brokerage, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong understanding of the transportation industry, including market dynamics, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence others.
• Proven leadership and management abilities, with a track record of developing and motivating teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using transportation management systems and other relevant software.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
