The Tuscarora Intermediate Unit is accepting applications for a Regional Coordinator position with our Parent to Parent program. This is a part-time, 24 hour per week position working in the Northeast Region of PA. Qualified candidates must live in one of the following counties: Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, Monroe, Luzerne, Sullivan, Bradford, Wyoming, Lackawanna, Pike, Wayne, or Susquehanna. Family members of children with developmental delay, disability or special health care need preferred. The Regional Coordinator of Parent to Parent of Pennsylvania reports directly to a Supervisor of Parent to Parent of Pennsylvania for supervision and evaluation.
Fundamental Duties/Essential Functions
1. Respond to family member requests related to connection with Peer Supporters and as appropriate, additional resources, following all program policies and procedures including but not limited to:
a. Documentation guidelines and policy.
b. Timelines for contact.
c. Identification of appropriate Peer Supporters and resources.
2. Recruit and provide appropriate support to Peer Supporters for the program.
3. Participate in regular review meetings with supervisor, to receive support related to achievement of program goals.
4. Complete evaluation and customer satisfaction activities, following all program policies and procedures, including activities related to:
a. Follow up for all match requests.
b. Outreach evaluation.
c. Additional evaluation and customer satisfaction activities as identified by the Supervisor and/or Program Director.
5. Provide in person and virtual presentations about the Parent to Parent of Pennsylvania program to family members and professionals, following program policies and procedures.
6. Participate in outreach activities such as conferences and events.
7. Travel both within and outside of the region as needed to fulfill responsibilities related to outreach, staff meetings, and professional development.
8. Participate in ongoing professional development related to professional growth and program needs.
9. Support the integration and promotion of family engagement initiatives as directed by the Program Director.
10. Participate in the development and implementation of strategic planning activities as directed by the Program Director.

6. Proficient with basic word processing and email; experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred. Ability to become proficient with database program utilized to support documentation of program activities and goals.
7. Willingness to travel, give presentations, and attend meetings at various hours including evenings and weekends as required.
8. Ability to provide personal, reliable transportation for travel requirements.
9. Ability to work in partnership with early childhood, Early Intervention, special education, healthcare, and human services systems.
Qualification Standards
1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Experience: Parent or family member of a person with a developmental delay, disability or special health care need preferred.
