Responsibilities

- Prepare and submit regulatory reports accurately and timely.
- Provide training to staff on compliance-related topics, including financial concepts and best practices.
- Collaborate with various departments to identify potential compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations affecting the banking industry and communicate relevant updates to the team.

Experience
- Proven experience in a compliance role within the banking or financial services industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial software applications used for regulatory reporting and compliance management.
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and their application in a banking environment.
- Knowledge of ACH transactions and related compliance requirements is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey compliance information across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
