LAYUP WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE
Our TJ Maxx/ Distribution Center (DC) is looking for top notch Layup Warehouse Associates. This person will play a key role in ensuring merchandise meets the specifications of TJMaxx to provide value to our customers.
What does a Layup Warehouse Associate do?
Our Layup Warehouse Associates are a key member of the merchandise journey. They ensure that the right goods get to the right stores at the right time. They do this amazing work in a fast paced, safe and efficient way. Layup is our eyes and ears of the company. After merchandise has been received, associates in this department count, perform inspections and document to ensure purchase orders are accurate and merchandise is ready to be processed (ticketed). Some of the responsibilities of this role include the following:
Lifting and lowering of packages up to 60 lbs- Requirement to frequently adjust body position to properly bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn and pivot
- Must read and match P.O (Purchase Orders) in English to receipts
- Must be able to calculate percentages
- Be organized and show good attention to detail
- Be flexible with changing demands and priorities
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Be safety conscious
- Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Qualifications:
- 1 year of job related experience preferred, but not required
- At least 18 years of age
- Must successfully complete a specialized math and skill assessment
- Be able to lift up to 60lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for 10 to 12 hours
Shift Opportunities:-Must have open availability
- A Shift: Monday – Thursday 5:00AM – 3:30PM
- B Shift: Friday – Sunday 6:30AM – 7:00PM
- C Shift: Monday – Thursday 4:00PM – 2:30AM

How much do we pay?
Our Layup Associates are starting at $15.50 per hour with shift differentials on qualifying shifts.
