Join our team at TJ Sushi and Steakhouse, a sushi and hibachi restaurant where we combine great food, excellent service, and a lively atmosphere to create an unforgettable dining experience. We’re looking for friendly and reliable Hosts and Servers to provide exceptional service to our guests.
Host Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and with a smile as they enter the restaurant.
- Manage reservations and walk-ins to ensure efficient seating.
- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries about menu, hours, or reservations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide excellent customer service and address guest needs promptly.
Server Responsibilities
- Provide a warm and welcoming dining experience to guests.
- Take orders accurately and communicate them effectively to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages, including knowledge of menu items and drink pairings.
- Monitor guest needs and ensure satisfaction throughout their meal.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, positive attitude, and a team-player mentality.
