Position Summary:
Spring Haven Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to support the health and well-being of our residents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating resident care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining strong communication with residents, families, and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:

Review Medication Administration Records (MARs) for all residents on a daily basis

Monitor and update any medication changes promptly

Process and follow up on all new prescription orders

Maintain professional relationships with in-house physicians and third-party healthcare providers

Coordinate and schedule transportation for resident appointments and outings

Ensure resident charts are complete and compliant with state regulations

Manage and update the electronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR) system for accuracy and compliance

Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with residents and their families

Provide direct resident care and support as needed
Qualifications
Job Qualifications – Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Current and valid CMA certification in the state of Florida

Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working in a senior living, long-term care, or healthcare setting

Genuine passion for working with the geriatric population, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with residents and their families

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when handling documentation and resident records

Experience with electronic medical records (eMAR system) and knowledge of medication management practices

Must be able to pass a Level 2 AHCA background screening in accordance with state regulations

Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening

Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and support staff

Dependable, professional, and able to multitask in a dynamic and resident-focused environment
Salary : $17 - $20
