Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized entry-level accounting clerk to join our team. We’re a large regional property development / management company headquartered on the Beltway 8 and I-10. You’d join a team of other finance members. Our growth has created this need.
Job Responsibilities
- Enter daily revenue for various properties.
- Monitor full-cycle AP process from invoice coding to check fulfillment.
- Help prepare construction related lender documents.
- Enter bi-weekly payroll expense for various properties.
- Maintain insurance renewal calendar and facilitate renewals.
- Maintain other financial schedules as needed.
- Assisting with other accounting-related duties.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Proficient in QuickBooks Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel
- Attention to details and accuracy of work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be deadline oriented and organized
- Must be Customer Service oriented
- 1-2 years of experience in similar position
