OVERVIEW
Great Escapes RV Resorts (Austin Oaks and Elgin Resort) is a growing company specializing in acquisition, development, and management of RV Resorts throughout the United States. Our leaders serve a diverse sector of the RV resort / hospitality industry. We are seeking individuals who possess the skills and interest to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team.
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of 2 Camp-Resorts and managing the staff team affectively to provide the best possible experience for our guests. This is a full-time position that manages subordinate staff and reports to the District Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Lead, direct, and manage all Camp-Resort operations including, but not limited to:
- Resort budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning
- Implementing and complying with all company policies and brand standards
- Overseeing sales and marketing initiatives
- Responding to guests' inquiries, and resolving concerns
- Meeting participation and facilitation.
- Directly supervise the Facilities Manager, Guest Relations Manager, and the Administrative Assistant.
- Lead recruiting, hiring, supervising, training, assessing, and evaluating, coaching and counseling, recognizing and rewarding department heads, and ensuring all team members comply with appropriate policies and operational procedures.
- Collaborates with District Manager (DM) to quickly and effectively address issues that would adversely affect the resort or guest satisfaction operation.
- Responsible for park specific social media content and responding to messaging and comments on all social media and review sites.
- Assist with capital improvement projects as needed.
- Ensure all maintenance/mechanical aspects of the property are in good working condition.
- Enforce Camp-Resort rules on the property.

REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3-5 years’ property management/resort experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through both verbal and written venues
- Current certifications in First Aid/CPR and AED or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Current certifications in CPO or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Current certifications in Propane dispensing or willingness to obtain upon hire
- OSHA safety training/certifications a plus
- Good knowledge of building regulations, construction regulations, fire regulations, and health and safety regulations in general.
- Possess excellent organization and project management skills, leadership skills as well as the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position is an extremely physically active position. Employee is regularly required to stand, swim, walk, and run. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
