Overview
We are seeking dedicated Emergency Medical Technicians to join our team. As an Emergency Medical Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing immediate medical care to patients in emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls to provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured
- Assess the patient's condition and determine a course of treatment
- Administer appropriate emergency medical care, including CPR, bandaging wounds, and administering medications
- Transport patients safely to medical facilities for further evaluation and treatment
- Communicate with medical personnel at the receiving facility to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate patient care documentation
Skills
- Experience in critical or urgent care settings, preferably in a Level I Trauma Center
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of anatomy
- Competency in venipuncture and aseptic technique
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Knowledge of emergency medicine protocols and procedures
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
