Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care and support to women during childbirth and ensuring the health of both mother and baby.
Duties
- Assist with pain management techniques during labor
- Utilize physiology knowledge to monitor maternal and fetal well-being
- Coordinate discharge planning for new mothers and babies
- Administer medications as needed
- Conduct physical examinations on mothers and newborns
- Document patient information accurately using Epic or similar systems
- Provide care for infectious diseases as necessary
- Maintain medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Offer toddler care guidance to new parents
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in patient interactions
Requirements
- Valid nursing license and BLS certification
- Previous experience in labor and delivery nursing preferred
- Strong understanding of maternal and fetal health
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with compassion and empathy
- Proficiency in Epic or similar electronic medical record systems

Pay: $2,184.00 - $2,860.00 per week
