TJT is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to become an integral part of our tax team in a full-time capacity. This is an exciting opportunity to serve as a valued business advisor and deliver industry-focused taxation services to middle market clients. As a Tax Manager, you will work side-by-side with firm leadership to serve TJT clients and grow the business, having a direct impact on the firm’s success. Additionally, you will work as a mentor and coach to tax staff, utilizing your expertise to help develop their technical and professional skills.
To be successful as a Tax Manager at TJT, you will have at least five years of prior experience in public accounting and exhibit diverse accounting knowledge and proficiency with financial statement interpretation. Additional essential functions and professional prerequisites include:
- Expertise reviewing business and individual tax returns - partnerships, s-corps, or c-corps preferred
- Experience using CCH Axcess Tax and Engagement trial balance software
- Strong communication skills required for managing and developing client relationships
- Exposure to both federal and state tax research
- Prior experience consulting with closely held businesses
- Current CPA certification
- Extensive technical tax expertise
