We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Graphic Designer to join our team. This role is perfect for an individual passionate about design across various mediums. As a Graphic Designer at TJWels, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of sign projects and collaborate with clients to bring their brand and messages to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Signage Design Creation: Design compelling and creative graphics for a wide variety of signage applications, including interior signage and ADA-compliant signage to ensure accessibility for all users.
- Design Software Proficiency: Utilize CorelDRAW, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software to develop custom graphics for a variety of mediums, including vinyl, metal, plastic, and acrylic signage.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, project managers, and clients to ensure designs meet both functional and aesthetic requirements for each sign project
- File Preparation & Execution: Prepare artwork for production, optimizing files for various sign materials (vinyl, acrylic, metal, etc.), ensuring precision in the final output.
- Quality Control: Oversee the production process to ensure that signage designs are executed with the highest quality standards, meeting both design specifications and client expectations.
- Client Interaction: Engage with clients throughout the design process, providing creative solutions and revisions to achieve the best possible result for their sign needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role with work in the Sign Industry.
- Strong proficiency in CorelDRAW (required) and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
- Knowledge of digital printing, laser cutting, CNC Routing, engraving, and other production processes.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring designs are accurate and fit for production.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team and clients to bring design concepts to life.
- A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience designing for the sign industry, including both interior and exterior signage projects.
- Understanding of materials, construction techniques, and finishes, including metal, acrylic, and vinyl.
- Familiarity with installation processes and working with third-party contractors.
- Ability to adapt to new design tools and software as needed.
