Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Buffer to join our painting team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail. This role is essential in preparing items for final inspection and ensuring they meet our high standards of quality. The Buffer will work closely with other team members to deliver exceptional results in painting projects.
Duties
- Operate buffing machines to polish and finish surfaces.
- Prepare items for buffing by cleaning and masking areas as needed.
- Inspect surfaces for imperfections and apply appropriate techniques to achieve a flawless finish.
- Collaborate with specialists to ensure all aspects of the products meet quality standards.
- Assist in painting processes, including surface preparation and application.
- Handle heavy lifting of parts and materials as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
Qualifications
- Buffing clear coat
- Production buffing
- Familiarity with buffing techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed throughout the workday.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Knowledge of painting processes is advantageous.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
