ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Collaborate with business leaders and key stakeholders to develop and implement a forward-thinking events strategy that supports major projects, initiatives and objectives.
- Establish and track measurable KPIs to ensure the effectiveness of communications efforts, continuously improving engagement rates.
- Create compelling, high-quality content for multiple internal communication channels, including intranet, newsletters, videos and leadership meetings, ensuring all materials align with branding guidelines.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to internal business partners, providing updates on progress and offering guidance to enhance communication efforts.
- Deliver presentations and updates to senior management, ensuring alignment and clarity in messaging.
- Draft impactful messages, speeches or scripts for senior executives for both written and spoken formats, tailored to resonate with employees.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute high-profile sales, leadership and customer events from concept to completion, ensuring seamless execution, alignment with strategic goals and you stay on or under budget.
- Proactively respond to feedback from stakeholders and employees, refining communications and event strategies accordingly.
- Ensure consistency between internal and external communication strategies and maintain alignment with business area and unit objectives.
- This role does not have direct reports.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, events, business or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing and communications, with a strong focus on internal communications, employee engagement and/or event management.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning for communications and events, including an ability to anticipate and respond to organizational needs.
- Proven event management experience, with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale leadership and customer-facing events.
- Outstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills, with a journalistic ability to identify and craft compelling stories.
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills, with sensitivity to organizational goals and values.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams, confidently engage with senior executives and lead via influence.
- Creative problem-solver with a proven ability to develop innovative communication strategies and collateral that adapt to evolving employee needs.
- Digital fluency, including expertise in interactive, video and other digital communication platforms.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to work effectively and professionally with C-suite level employees
- Strong project management skills, with attention to detail and an ability to deal with ambiguity and balance competing priorities.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging workplace culture.
- High-level of skill with PowerPoint and other presentation platforms.
- Experience with ON24, Zoom or other virtual broadcast platforms preferred.
- Experience hosting large–scale events via Microsoft Teams.
