Job Summary:
We are seeking a Correctional Mental Health professional to provide mental health services to incarcerated individuals at the Pulaski County Jail in Little Rock, AR.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in social work, clinical psychology, psychiatric nursing, or related field, and be licensed as a Social Worker, Marriage/Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor or Licensed Professional Counselor.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate mental health care needs of incarcerated individuals
- Develop individualized treatment plans for psychiatric inmates
- Provide MAT/substance abuse counseling and crisis intervention
- Coordinate care with Facility and medical staff to ensure special needs are addressed
- Participate in on-call responsibilities for off-hours MHP coverage
- Provide mental health training for jail staff as needed
