What are the responsibilities and job description for the Alarm Technician position at TKO SECURITY?
We are seeking an Alarm Technician to join our team! TKO Security is a locally owned company that installs, services, and repairs security alarm systems, CCTV systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems, and A/V systems. Please note: This is NOT a security guard job posting.
Responsibilities:
- Install and program new security alarm systems, CCTV systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems, and A/V systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with security alarm systems, CCTV systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems, and A/V systems
- Communicate issues of systems to customers and offer solutions to resolve issues
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on security alarm systems, CCTV systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems, and A/V systems
- Keep up with inventory of service parts on company vehicle
Qualifications:
- Security installation, or other low-voltage related fields preferred
- Preferred to have a valid Texas issued Private Security License, or must be able to obtain one within 90 days of hire
- Must have a valid state issued Drivers License
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check (No Class B misdemeanors or greater within the last 5 years)
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to work productively with minimal supervision
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Must have reliable mode of transportation to/from work
Salary:
- Pay based on experience
