Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder and Material Fabricator to join our team in Blue Springs, MS. The ideal candidate will possess strong welding and fabrication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. This role involves working with various materials to manufacture, assemble, and repair metal structures and components.
Key Responsibilities
- MIG Welding: Perform MIG welding operations on various metals, ensuring strong and precise welds.
- Material Fabrication: Cut, bend, and shape metal materials to required specifications using tools and equipment such as shears, press brakes, and saws.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to produce accurate work.
- Assembly: Assemble fabricated parts into final products or subassemblies.
- Inspection and Quality Assurance: Inspect completed welds and fabricated components to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain welding and fabrication equipment to ensure proper operation and safety.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all workplace safety standards and protocols.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in MIG welding and material fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using tools and machinery for metal fabrication.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in welding or metal fabrication (e.g., AWS certification).
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Familiarity with other welding techniques (e.g., TIG, stick welding) is a plus.
Work Environment
