Position Summary:
TLC is seeking a part-time (8 hours per week) Clinical Supervisor to join our behavioral health team! Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director, the Clinical Supervisor responsibilities include providing direct California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) supervision to assigned trainees and associates.
Essential Functions:
- Meet with assigned trainees and associates on a weekly basis in accordance with BBS regulations for group, triadic, and individual supervisions as needed.
- Evaluate trainees and associates in accordance with BBS guidelines.
- Monitor caseloads and ensure that supervisees comply with all agency, clinical, legal, and ethical practices.
- Provide ongoing, regular feedback and evaluation for trainees and associates.
- Help trainees and associates identify professional development goals and collaboratively monitor progress towards those goals.
- Review supervisee’s clinical documents as needed.
Skills:
- Knowledge of child and adolescent development, trauma, family systems, prevalent mental health diagnoses and best practices for treating those diagnoses.
- Demonstrated awareness of and competence in working with racial, cultural and socioeconomically diverse youth and families.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to ensure the best possible training for supervisees and service delivery for clients.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
Qualifications:
- Licensed LMFT or LCSW for a minimum of 2 years is required.
- Demonstrated experience working with and/or supervising work with children, youth, and families, vulnerable youth, child protective services, and community mental health.
- Up to date with continuing education courses approved by the licensing board which permit functioning as a clinical supervisor.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical exam, TB and drug screen.
- Valid California driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and auto insurance showing employee as an insured driver on the policy.

Wage Range: $42.21 - $56.72 per hour, depending on years of experience. The salary range for this role may vary above and below the posted range, as determined by experience and licensure. Compensation takes into account several factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
