What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Home Manager position at TLC DD Group Homes LLC?

Responsible for Members which includes:
- Assisting in preparing for Person Centered Service Plan (PCSP) meetings and attending all PCSP.
- Maintains ongoing communication with the Management Team.
- Conduct weekly Member File audits to maintain accurate, complete and comprehensive Member Files.
- Ensure Member Files are complete and updated with all current information.
- Ensure uploading documents into electronic storage.
- Ensure all applicable regulations / standards are adhered to at all times.
- Report all incident reports immediately
- Ensure members’ personal belongings, wheelchairs, and equipment is clean and ready for use.
- Complete medical appointments for the members.
- Ensure all documentation from each appointment is complete and accurate.
- Ensure all group home documentation is complete and accurate.
- Completing End of Month Duties.
- Being punctual to shifts and appointments.
- Being on call for staffing and emergencies.
- Ensuring all staff are following company protocol, standards, and policies.
- Complete incident reports for behaviors, illness, accidents, etc.
Responsible for Medical Aspects of Care which include:
- Responsible for reporting all changes of conditions regarding the residents in the home immediately.
- Transporting members to doctor appointments.
- Ensuring all followup and communication from doctors’ appointment is completed and updating the Team.
- Uploading into electronic storage all doctor appointments.
- Ensuring and verifying the MAR matches the Physician’s Orders and the labels for all medications.
- Ensure all required consents are signed by the appropriate guardian/parent.
- Must perform duties following safety standards required for this position including but not limited to use of PPE’s (Personal Protective Equipment i.e. gloves).
Responsible for Employees which includes:
- Ensuring proper member to staff ratios.
- Provide additional shift coverage as the need arises for call outs, etc.
- Ensuring all group home staff accurately complete the required documentation on a daily basis.
- Train all new and existing group home staff.
- Ensuring staff adhere to and follow all directives and policy and procedures handed down by the agency.
- Attending all training sessions required by the agency, including Manager meetings.
- Abide by and support all directives, policies and procedures handed down by the agency.
- Being on call for emergencies.
- Completing grocery shopping.
- Hold monthly staffing meetings.
Responsible for the Home which includes:
- Being available by phone for emergency and staffing situations.
- Being flexible in hours worked in order to assist with DSP shift coverage, if needed.
- Daily walk through the group homes.
- Assisting with making sure that the home is ready for surveys and monitoring.
- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of all group homes.
- Must attend all training sessions required by the company including but not limited to monthly staff meetings.
- Complete twice monthly monitoring of each behavior plan.
Driving which includes (must be an approved driver for this position):
- Driving vehicles following the driving policies and ensures that is compliant with insurance requirements.
- Complete the Vehicle check list daily.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Daily maintenance checks of the vehicles (i.e. checking turn signals, cleanliness, fuel, etc.)
- Escort and drive members to appointments and activities as scheduled.
- Maintain a clean driving record.
- Report any changes to your driving record immediately.
Responsibility to the Agency which Includes:
- Being flexible in hours worked and location worked to assist with staff coverage, if needed.
- Ensuring that you maintain compliance in regard to:
1. Article 9
2. Prevention and Support
3. Fingerprint Clearance Card
4. CPR and First Aid
5. Abuse and Neglect
6. Driver License is current and in good standing.
- Adhere to and follow all directives and policy and procedures handed down by the agency.
- Ensure that all required documentation including but not limited to PCSP outcomes, Incident Reports, DSP daily duties etc. are completed daily.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School or Equivalent
- Must have a clean driving record and be approved
- Flexible hours to work times as well as work locations to assist with staff coverage if needed.
- Reliable transportation to work at any location.
- Must have or be capable of passing and maintaining Article 9 and Prevention and Support within 45 days of hire.
- Must provide 39month motor vehicle department (MVD) driving record by time of offer.
- Must have or be capable of passing and maintaining CPR / 1st Aid within 45 days of hire.
- Must have or be capable of obtaining and maintaining a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Must be capable of performing a 50pound weightlifting test performed as part of the required physical exam.
