Job Summary:
TLC House & Pet Sitting Service, a leading pet-sitting company in Chandler, Arizona, is seeking a responsible and compassionate individual to join our team as a Pet Sitter for overnights and vacation visits. This is a Contractor Customer Service job in which the individual will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our clients' beloved pets while they are away. This position is an individual contributor role and requires a high level of trustworthiness, dependability, and professionalism.

Compensation & Advantages:
The pet-sitting position offers a competitive compensation of $500 to $1500 per month, paid biweekly. In addition, as a contractor, you will benefit from a flexible schedule, as your hours will vary based on the number of assignments you choose to accept therefore, your pay will vary on the amount of work you accept. This role also allows animal lovers to build professional connections, gain experience in customer service, and positively impact the lives of pets and their owners.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional pet care to clients' furry companions during overnight stays and vacation visits
- Follow detailed instructions and ensure each pet's needs are met according to their usual routine
- Administer medication, if necessary, and adhere to special dietary requirements
- Spend quality time with the pets, including playing, walking, and giving them affection
- Keep the pet's living space clean and tidy by performing basic housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning up after accidents and washing dishes
- Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates with photos of their pets' well-being
- Report any concerns or emergencies promptly to the TLC and the owner
- Ensure the safety and security of both the pet and the client's home during your stay
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including maintaining confidentiality of client information
Requirements:
- Previous experience in pet sitting, animal care, or a related field preferred
- Strong understanding and love for various types of pets and their needs
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and cater to individual pet care needs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Own a reliable mode of transportation to travel to and from clients' homes, as well as to run any errands required during the assignment
- Must be able to pass a background check and provide references from previous pet-sitting jobs or personal relationships with animals
- Must have basic knowledge of technology to communicate and access scheduling tools and client information
